RECONFIGURABILITY

DeltaSym^® is a multi-aircraft simulation platform that can be quickly changed from one aircraft configuration to another.

The base frame assembly is the key to reconfigurability. It is the foundation upon which all aircraft configurations are built. It contains the components that are common to all aircraft types. The base frame assembly consists of:

To make a specific aircraft configuration, a front instrument panel and side consoles are added to the base frame assembly. The side consoles and front instrument panel match the physical look and feel of the real aircraft, complete with high fidelity, simulator grade instruments.

To change aircraft configurations the front instrument panel and side consoles of one aircraft type are removed and replaced with the front instrument panel and side consoles of another aircraft type. All consoles are easily removed by two persons with no jigs or crane required.


DeltaSym^® - Fully Adjustable Aircraft Seat

The seat is common to all aircraft configurations. The seat angle is easily adjusted by simply dialing in the number on the seat control panel that corresponds to the desired aircraft configuration and then holding down a switch. The seat will automatically move to the proper inclination angle for the selected aircraft type. The seat height is also easily adjustable. Holding the seat height adjust switch forward raises the seat and holding it aft lowers the seat. The seat slides back and locks into place for pilot ingress and egress and easily slides forward and locks into the proper operating position.
