Air Traffic Control Engineering, Technical, and Operational Total System Delivery Support

On June 1, 2021, SYMVIONICS was awarded a subcontract from Booz Allen Hamilton Inc. (Booz Allen), as a teaming partner, to a 7-year contract to continue providing Air Traffic Control (ATC) Services for the Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic Air Traffic Control Division. Previously, SYMVIONICS was teaming partner and subcontractor to Booz Allen on the predecessor contract.

This contract provides engineering support services and supplies for the conception, design, development and delivery of integrated systems, networks and supporting infrastructure along with the corresponding engineering, technical, and management support services and the equipment for Air Traffic Control (ATC), Meteorology and Oceanography (METOC), and Aviation Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) electronic systems as tasked by Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Atlantic and NIWC Pacific. This PWS also covers support for the modification, upgrade, sustainment, maintenance, training, and emergency/routine repairs of existing ATC, METOC, and Aviation C5ISR systems, including full system life-cycle support services for NAVWAR ATC Enterprise/Capability Based In-Service Engineering Activity (CB-ISEA) systems; air traffic management and electronic equipment maintenance services to support ATC operations (ground-to-air communications, aviation command and control, surveillance and precision radar, voice communications, aviation weather systems sustainment and maintenance); and installation and integration of ATC, METOC, and Aviation C5ISR electronic systems. This contract supports various Department of Defense (DoD) and federal agencies, including Naval Air Traffic Management Systems Program Office (NAVAIR PMA-213), Unmanned Carrier Aviation Program Office (NAVAIR PMA-268), Naval Information Warfare Systems Command Fleet Readiness Directorate (NAVWAR FRD), Program Executive Office for Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (PEO C4I), U.S. Air Forces Central Command (AFCENT), U.S. Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (USAF AFLCMC), U.S. Air Forces Air Combat Command (USAF ACC), U.S. Air Forces Pacific Air Forces (PACAF), U.S. Marine Corps Training and Education Command (USMC TECOM), US Army, National Science Foundation (NSF), and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
